Copy the executable file to a directory in which you have Read, Write, and Execute permissions. I prefer to create a C:\bin directory and run the file from there.
FindUninstallString can run without elevated permissions.
In the box under "Enter Program Name", enter all or part of the name you want to search for. Entering nothing will return all names. Now click 'Submit'. The program will do a read-only LINQ query of "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall"
and return a list of all subkeys that contain an entry for "DisplayName" and "WindowsInstaller". If a value is blank for either entry, that subkey is not added to the list.
The user can right-click on a line in the table and then choose whether to copy the Name or the Uninstall String to the clipboard.
